Famous Fido Rescue’s Sanctuary was built with the safety, well-being, and quality of life of life of animals deemed ‘unadoptable’ in mind. The sanctuary is a haven for animals who have not been able to pass a behavioral assessment or require extensive and ongoing medical care that would make moving into another home unfeasible. These animals are given all the love they deserve, with lots of enriching playtime, and company with experienced handlers. They have comfortable rooms, with couches to lounge on, and some are partnered up with other dogs that complement them and help to ease with their anxieties.
For these animals, we believe it is best for them to have a predictable and reliable routine day in and day out, and so, we provide for their needs throughout the entire course of their lifetimes. Although these animals cannot be adopted, they do need you to be their advocate, and help with sponsorships for their food, housing, and veterinary needs in their forever home at our center.
