His Story
Tyson suffered a paralyzing injury in his former home. His person brought him in saying they had found him like this, but when we contacted the vet that they had brought him to, we learned that they had slammed his body in a car door and refused him pain medication. To deny him anything to ease the pain was very cruel. Tyson needs a special person who can work with him as he goes through an amputation in his back leg, where he will soon be a tripod. Tyson will need someone confident in the care of a special needs cat and can dedicate time to working with him to use a wheelchair. He is very strong willed, and has a vibrant, loving personality. There’s lots to love about this affectionate boy, and he needs someone who will stick by him for life.

His Sponsorship
Tyson is a special needs cat and needs an amputation on his back leg. He will likely need ongoing acupuncture and physical therapy. Sponsorships are greatly needed to cover his medical expenses, food, and housing. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and Tyson would love to receive treats and toys for comfort and for play. Tyson cannot climb into a litterbox because of his injury, and as such reusable pads are greatly appreciated as well.
