There are many important roles at Famous Fido and each one is key to helping cats and dogs in need. If you think you may have something to contribute to the rescue – whether it be a skill, connections, funding or just some extra time, we could use your help!
Much Needed Roles
Volunteers must be 18 years or older and comfortable working with rescue animals. If you are applying for court-ordered community service, please let us know in advance. Famous Fido Rescue is a 501(c)3 organization with a No-Kill Advocacy, Wellness and Learning Center.
We focus on saving cats and dogs from high-kill shelters, finding them their right homes, and provide education about animal care and advocacy. Volunteering takes place during business hours: Mon–Sat 9am–7pm if you are working at our facility. However, some administrative and fundraising activity may be performed at your home at your convenience.
