His Story
Taz came to Famous Fido Rescue when his guardian took a trucking job that meant they weren’t going to have time to spend with him anymore. He was terrified to be losing his person after spending 9 years with them! Taz bonds especially with one person, so a high traffic household likely would not be the best fit for him. He feels safest when he has someone he can trust within eyesight, but for that person, he is the most loyal little guy you can imagine. He’ll want to sleep in their lap and be carried around. He does fine with other little dogs with matching temperaments. 

His Sponsorship
Taz will need sponsoring for his daily needs in center, including for his food, housing, and vetting. As a senior dog, Taz will need a senior wellness check. Enrichment is also a very important part of Taz’s rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
