His Story

Barry is a very gentle and loving senior dog who just wants to be loved. He has been very lonely since losing his family. He is a very loyal little dog. Barry does have blindness and will likely need a halo to help prevent him from bumping into things. But, he always hears when you call him and comes running. It is essential that he is not left on anything high like a couch, because he will not be able to tell where the drop is. He needs someone who will see him through for his golden years. He is okay with gentle pups of a similar size. 

His Sponsorship

Barry will need sponsoring for his daily needs at the center, including for his food, housing, and medical care. As a senior dog, Barry will need specialized senior wellness check ups. Enrichment is also very important and can help make Barry’s wait at the rescue easier. Toys and treats for comfort and for play are especially appreciated. He really loves bully sticks, ziwi peak treats, and cuddly blankets.
