His Story

Leo was on his last days at an open-door shelter before Famous Fido stepped in and saved his life. The shelter had contacted over 280 rescues to see if they could make space for Leo without any luck. His situation pulled at our heartstrings. He was desperate! Leo is an adorable, sweet, fun-loving dog, but he can be protective over his domain. Our volunteers have been great at socializing Leo throughout his stay at our rescue, and we believe he could potentially share a home with another canine companion depending on a meet and greet. 

His Sponsorship

Leo will need sponsoring for his daily needs at Famous Fido Rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also important to Leo’s time here and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Mammoth toys are best for him to play with, and he loves bully sticks as well.
