Her Story 

April was abandoned by her family because it was “moving day.” They left her tied to the gas meter outside our adoption center, where she looked so scared and confused. To see this little girl panic, feel her heart race, and watch as she paced on her leash was devastating. No pup should ever have to go through that! April is going to need a lot of love and comfort as she grieves the loss of her former family, and deals with the rush in which they abandoned her in. She is very friendly, sweet, and needs a dedicated family to take her for walks, enriching play time, and work on basic training skills. She has already proved to be a great listener, and we think she could flourish in a home that cared about her success. 

Her Sponsorship

April will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially appreciated.
