Her Story
Cherry seemed shell shocked when she first arrived at Famous Fido Rescue. She had been through a lot! Cherry arrived inside of a taped cardboard box with no air holes. It was a big box and she was shaken around a fair bit! She had been captured by the landlord of a building after a tenant abandoned her in their apartment. While she is a little shy right now, she does still have some trust in humans. Cherry loves to be patted. It brings her a lot of comfort. She will need a very loving and compassionate person to give her the time she needs to fully decompress. We know in time she will purr again!
Her Sponsorship
Cherry will need sponsoring for her daily needs in center, including for her food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is also a very important part of Cherry’s rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Cherry is litter trained and will also need supplies of clumping cat litter for her tray.
