His Story

For Cagney, he lost his entire world very suddenly when one of his guardian’s passed away, and the other moved into an assisted living facility. Sadly, his other family members did not want to keep him either, and when they brought him here, they took back his collar and leash as a memento. He’s been howling with despair without the bed of his loved ones to climb into at night, and really is desperate to find another home to give him that kind of special attention. He settles down with the company of other people, and doesn’t mind the company of other dogs of a similar size either. Cagney’s ideal home should have someone who can be home the majority of the day, to help ease his anxieties. He is a very sweet dog but can startle easily, and would do best in an adult only home, so he can relax and enjoy the rest of his golden years.

His Sponsorship

Cagney requires sponsoring for his daily needs, including his housing, feeding and medical care. As a senior dog, he will need help wih covering the expenses of his senior wellness checks. He also needs care packages with toys, treats for training and bully sticks for his dental well being.
