Adopted

Maya

Breed: Chihuahua mix
Age: 10 Years

Her Story

Maya was surrendered to Famous Fido Rescue due to no fault of her own. Maya’s former person had a disability that made her care challenging for them. She is a tiny little girl, and does have vision impairment, so she can frighten easily from people towering over her, or coming up behind her. Maya would likely do best in a calm, adult-only home to spoil her with love and patience in her golden years. She is very affectionate, playful, and sweet!

Her Sponsorship

Maya will need sponsoring for her daily needs, including her food, housing, and medical care. As a senior dog, Maya will need specialized senior wellness checks. She does have a lump on her neck that will need examination. Enrichment is also very important to Maya’s time at the center and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Maya especially loves bully sticks.

* I have diabetes and require two insulin shots a day!
