Her Story 

Shelby came to Famous Fido Rescue by no fault of her own. Her former guardian was affected by a car accident that left them unable to care for her. Their parents tried to provide care for Shelby, but as senior citizens, they struggled to keep up. Shelby is an energetic dog and is very intelligent. She would do well with an experienced guardian who has familiarity with the breed. She is cautious of other animals and should be the only dog. Given time to decompress, and guided by the love of a caring human, we know she will flourish into a loyal and loving companion. 

Her Sponsorship 

Shelby will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
