Leo

His Story

Leo was originally brought into his former home to bring comfort to the family’s daughter who had received a cancer diagnosis at a very young age. Unfortunately, as her health worsened, the family needed to make their residency at the children’s hospital. Leo was not able to come with them, so the parents and their daughter searched for a safe place to bring him, after none of their friends or family were able to keep him. Naturally, his heart is very broken right now. He was used to being this little girl’s whole world. He is a very quiet and gentle cat, and he would love a calm home to decompress in and a kind person to absorb lots of love from. 

His Sponsorship

Leo will need sponsoring for his daily needs at the center for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also important to Leo’s time at Famous Fido Rescue, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Leo is litter trained and will also require clumping litter for his tray.
