Mala

Her Story

Mala was surrendered when her guardian was moving and did not have a solution to bring her with. She had been with her family since she was a puppy and is now 9 years old. Mala previously had an infection in her ear, so that ear flops down, while the other stands tall. As a senior dog, Mala wants someone who will take things slow with her. It is hard getting to know a whole new family and home at a later stage in life, but she still has so much love to give and she is eager to be an active member of the family. Mala would be okay as an only dog, and might even like to have a canine companion of a similar size as well. Mala enjoys her naps, but craves company. It would be ideal for her to find a home where she could get lots of attention throughout the day. 

Her Sponsorship

Mala will need sponsoring for her daily needs while she awaits adoption, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also very important to Mala’s stay here and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
