Her Story

Basil was surrendered to our center because their person was allergic. Basil had not been with them very long, but really came to depend on them. Not long before they took her in, Basil suffered a spinal injury which caused her to need a tail amputation. While she is now completely healed and physically very healthy, her heart still needs some mending. She wants a stable home and reliable routine. Basil loves to play and chase around feathered toys. Bringing her a little bit of joy with playtime each day would definitely help heal her broken heart! 

Her Sponsorship

Basil will need sponsoring for her daily needs in center, including for her food, housing, and medical needs. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Basil is litter trained and prefers pine litter.
