Adopted

WILSON

Breed: German Shephers
Age: 10-11 years old
Sex: M
Size: Large, 70 lbs

About:  Wilson is a handsome, tall, loyal, and very strong male, shepherd-mix looking for a very experienced and committed guardian.  Wilson was living with an elderly woman who passed away in her home. Sadly, he was found days later in the home with her dead body. He was brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control where he was almost euthanized. He had lived isolated in the household with his guardian, a recluse and a hoarder, and ad no socialization.  Lucky for him, Famous Fido came to his rescue.

Once you know Wilson, he is such a loving and smart dog. He is full of tail wags and kisses for those he adores. He is extremely protective of his people and afraid of those that he does not know, so you can just imagine how petrified he was in a cage in a crowded shelter. Wilson would do best with an extremely experienced and patient dog-loving single woman with no other animals or kids, willing to continue his training.
