Adopted

Charlie

Breed: ShihTzu
Age: 7 years old
Sex: Male

His Story

Charlie was given to a friend when his guardian had cancer and could no longer care for him. The friend he was entrusted with only had him for a week before deciding to surrender him. Charlie has been through a great loss, and it has been very upsetting for him. It is especially evident how much he misses his people by how he longs to always be close to someone. Charlie is very much a velcro dog. He needs someone that will be around a lot to bring him lots of comfort.

His Sponsorship

Charlie will need sponsoring for his daily needs in center, including for his food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and Charlie would love to receive toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great. As a senior dog, he will need wellness checks too.
