Their Story
Winter and Storm were rescued during the coldest, snowiest, winter storm in Chicago this year. They were taken in from the outdoors, where they were clawing at one of our neighbor’s doors to get inside and get warm. If they weren’t brought in, they most likely would not have survived. Their rescuer had tried to keep them, but unfortunately due to their housing situation they could not, and surrendered them to our center instead. Winter and Storm are very playful and affectionate and are especially adorable when they snuggle in their bed together to nap. Winter (female) is the tortoise shell cat, and Storm (male) is grey and white.
Their Sponsorship
Winter and Storm will need sponsoring for their daily needs at Famous Fido Rescue, including for their food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is very important to Winter and Storm’s time at the center and they would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and play. Both Winter and Storm are litter trained and will need clumping or pine litter for their trays.

*Winter and Storm are too young right now for their spay and neuter surgeries but FFRAA will arrange appointments once they reach a safe age and weight to do so.
