Cody

His Story 

Cody is a special little guy! For all he has been through, he still has such a bright and playful spirit, even though he can’t fully physically express it just yet! Cody came to us after a situation where he was abandoned at a gas station. He was left behind with nothing but a chain around his neck. Cody had visible signs of abuse, including a tail injury, cigarette burns to his hind, and ribs protruding that demonstrate significant malnutrition. Cody needs a lot of love and care and a very patient person who will dedicate their time to setting him up for success. He has been through a lot of traumas and would benefit from a home that will work through all this with him. He needs to know that someone will stand by him for life, and never treat him this way ever again. 

His Sponsorship 

Cody will need sponsoring for his daily needs at Famous Fido Rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Cody came in to us in an emaciated condition, with wounds to his hind and tail, and will need extensive veterinary care and rehabilitation. Enrichment is also a very important part of Cody’s rescue journey, and he would love to receive toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks would be especially great!
