Her Story
Lady’s care was being neglected in her former home. She was being starved and denied grooming. Her coat was completely matted, and we had to shave her down. Despite what has been a very traumatic life so far, Lady shows so much promise. She just wants to be loved and feel the affection of a human she can trust. She is a very scared dog, but we think she would thrive with a dedicated guardian who could help build her confidence. Her adopter will need to be prepared to take her for regular grooming and keep her diet consistent and healthy!
Her Sponsorship
Lady will need sponsoring for her daily needs in center, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
Lady was surrendered in an emaciated condition and will need extra nutrients and vitamins to help build her strength.
