His Story 

Meet Petey, a delightful 2-year-old Kelpie x Husky. Unfortunately, circumstances beyond his control led him to our rescue, but his spirit remains unbroken. Initially reserved due to the abrupt changes in his life, Petey is searching for a patient and understanding family to help him navigate the transition. Despite his initial shyness, he reveals his playful side during walks and frolics in the rescue yard, demonstrating a love for an active lifestyle. With time, patience, and the embrace of a loving family, we believe Petey will blossom into the devoted and joyful family companion he was born to be.

His Sponsorship 

Petey will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
