Her Story

Crystal was surrendered to our center, after her guardian claimed that their specific religious beliefs led them to believe they were more important than animals, and she no longer wanted to care for Crystal. Although we had never heard of someone saying this to us before, there was still a cat in front of us who needed help, and it was clear that her guardian did not want to be that person for her. Crystal is perhaps one of the most gentle and affectionate cats. She deserves so much better. And, she would be so happy to find someone who could help fill that gap in her heart. She wants to get a lot of attention and feel like one of the family. She’s very scared right now, but a calm and compassionate family could definitely help bring her out of her shell.

Her Sponsorship

Crystal will need sponsoring for her daily needs in center, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is very important to help with her rescue journey, and care packages with toys and treats for comfort and play are always appreciated. Crystal is litter trained and will require clumping litter for her tray.
