Blackie is a 1.5-year-old toy poodle weighing under 10 pounds, with a gentle heart and a deep desire to be loved. After being left behind when her guardian moved away, she’s understandably a little unsure of the world, but her sweet nature shines through in every soft glance and quiet cuddle. She thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where she can feel safe, secure, and truly part of the family. Blackie is affectionate, sensitive, and eager to bond, making her a wonderful companion for someone ready to offer him the consistency and care she’s been missing.

Her Sponsorship 

Blackie will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for their food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her recue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
