His Story 

Griffey is a one-year-old maltese x yorkie mix with a gentle heart and a longing to finally feel safe and cared for. When he arrived at Famous Fido Rescue, he was heartbreakingly thin and underweight, clearly in need of nourishment, stability, and lots of love. Despite this difficult start, Griffey has remained incredibly friendly and affectionate with everyone he meets, soaking up every bit of attention and kindness offered to him. He would thrive in a home where someone can truly dote on him, helping him regain not only his healthy weight, but also the comfort and confidence every dog deserves. Griffey is ready to leave the uncertainty behind and become someone’s cherished little companion.

His Sponsorship

Griffey will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
