His Story
Copper is a 7-year-old chihuahua/pug mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Recently surrendered, he came to us in rough shape, suffering from severely overgrown nails – one of which had painfully curled into his paw pad and caused an infection. Despite the discomfort and neglect he’s endured, Copper remains incredibly sweet, affectionate, and trusting. He’s now receiving the care he needs and is ready to begin a new chapter with someone who will cherish him and keep him safe. Copper is looking for a calm, loving home where he can heal, be spoiled, and enjoy the comfort every dog deserves.
His Sponsorship
Copper will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue center, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
