His Story
Darling Wiley has always loved people. Prior to coming to Famous Fido Rescue, he lived as an outside cat and frequented neighbors houses often. His family surrendered him to Famous Fido Rescue when they felt they no longer could keep up with his care. Spending life outdoors does present risks and dangers to cats, and Wiley has tested FIV +. While this does mean he does have a weakened immune system, it doesn’t mean that he cannot live a long and loved life with you. To keep Wiley healthy, he will need to be kept inside. He is clean with using his litter box and has a healthy appetite, so we suspect he will adjust well to indoor life. He has a very gentle spirit and will even roll over for belly rubs.

His Sponsorship
Wiley will need sponsoring for his daily needs in center, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is a very important part of his rescue journey too, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Wiley is litter trained and prefers pine litter for his tray.
