His Story
Wilbur is a precious 2-month-old kitten who has already overcome more hardship than most animals should ever have to face in a lifetime. He was found crying underneath a dumpster in excruciating pain, suffering from a severe prolapsed rectum that required urgent surgery to save his life. Thanks to the compassion of so many supporters, Wilbur received the care he needed and is now healing beautifully. Despite everything he has been through, he is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and longing for comfort and companionship. Wilbur gets very lonely on his own and would thrive in a loving home with another young cat to help him feel safe, playful, and loved as he continues to grow. This tiny survivor deserves a family who will cherish him for the rest of his life.
His Sponsorship
Wilbur will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Wilbur is litter trained and will need supplies of pine litter for his tray.
