Her Story 

Wendy is a 1-year-old maltese mix with a heart full of longing and love to give. She was recently surrendered and is feeling scared, lonely, and unsure of her place in the world. Wendy thrives when she’s close to people and finds comfort in their presence. She would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day. She can become anxious and vocal when left alone, so a calm, committed companion is exactly what she needs. Wendy is very submissive with other dogs and could join a gentle canine friend who matches her soft energy. She’s ready to be someone’s shadow, cuddle buddy, and most loyal companion.

Her Sponsorship 

Wendy will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and squeaky toys are especially great!
