His Story 

Trooper is a 9-month-old long-haired Dachshund with a heart full of love and a longing for stability after being let down far too early in life. Despite his young age and the heartbreak he’s endured, Trooper remains a sweet, hopeful soul who adores gentle affection and simply wants to belong. He would thrive in a patient and loving home where he can be guided with kindness and given the time to settle in at his own pace. Trooper is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside, and he’s ready to give his whole heart to someone who will promise to never let him down again.

His Sponsorship 

Trooper will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and training treats are especially great.
