His Story
Timmy is a 1-year-old schnauzer with a heart full of love, despite the neglect he’s endured. When he arrived, his tiny body was hidden beneath thick mats, but once shaved, the extent of his suffering became painfully clear – every rib visible, his fragile skin stretched thin over protruding bones. Yet, even after all he’s been through, Timmy greets the world with gentle nuzzles and unwavering trust. He needs a calm, patient home where he can gain strength and learn what it feels like to be cherished. Timmy gets along well with other small animals and loves people, making him the perfect companion for someone who can offer the love and stability he has always deserved.
His Sponsorship
Timmy will need sponsoring for his daily needs at Famous Fido Rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of Timmy’s rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and play. Timmy would especially love some small sweaters.
If you would like to send Timmy a care package, please see his wish list here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1511G2RYRF8K2?ref_=wl_share

Adoption fee: $300
At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
