Meet Teddy, a 2-year-old Kelpie mix who’s ready to start his next chapter! His story? It’s been a rollercoaster. Teddy was heartlessly thrown out by his former family, but a kind-hearted college student stepped in to give him a safe spot. When they tried to return him, his old family coldly turned him away, saying they didn’t want him back. The student tried their best, but with a strict landlord threatening eviction, they had no choice but to bring Teddy to Famous Fido Rescue. Now Teddy’s looking for someone who’s down to match his vibe – he’s a smart, active dude who’s all about those daily walks and playtime sessions. He’s got tons of potential and just needs someone to show him what being part of a real family feels like. If you’re up for a loyal, loving sidekick who’ll stick by you through thick and thin, Teddy might be your guy!

Teddy will need sponsoring for his daily needs at Famous Fido Rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Transparency in Adoption Fees: What Your Contribution Helps Cover

At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
