His Story 

Teddy is such a precious little kitty who has been deprived of the love and comfort of a home for far too long! He is an affectionate and gentle spirit who craves the warmth of a lap and the gentle caress of a hand patting down his back. At the center, Teddy has been friendly with the other kitties, and we suspect he’d be very excited to join a growing feline family. He can be somewhat playful when encouraged with a feather toy too! 

His Sponsorship 

Teddy will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Teddy is litter trained and will need supplies of clumping litter for his tray.

Transparency in Adoption Fees: What Your Contribution Helps Cover

At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
