Taro

His Story 

Taro was brought to a large rescue organization to be surrendered, but unfortunately, they turned him away. His family then left him at a Petco that was nearby, and the staff at the Petco brought him back to the same rescue. Sadly, once again, he was turned away. Thankfully, they then reached out to us, and we immediately took Taro into our care. Taro came in looking physically distressed. He is malnourished and underweight. It’s clear that he is in dire need of tender loving care. He needs a guardian who will take him under their wing and cherish him forever. It’s evident that he hasn’t felt any love and care in a long time. Despite it all, he has such a sweet and friendly disposition.

His Sponsorship

Taro will need sponsoring for his daily needs at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is a very important part of Taro’s rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Taro is litter trained and will also need supplies of clumping litter for his tray.
