His Story
String Bean is a precious 5-year-old Pekingese/Poodle mix who came to us from an overcrowded situation where there were simply too many dogs and not enough care, and despite it all, he has such a gentle, hopeful spirit. He does well with other dogs and would love a home where he can have a canine friend, but most of all he needs a family who will offer him patience, consistency, and lots of tender loving care as he learns what it feels like to be truly safe and valued. String Bean is ready to leave his past behind and start a new chapter filled with warmth, kindness, and unconditional love with someone who will cherish him for the rest of his life.
His Sponsorship
String Bean will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
