Sparky is a 1.5 year old Shepherd/Heeler mix with a sweet nature and a heart that is ready to love again. After losing his home due to housing issues, Sparky found himself in an open door shelter before being transferred to Famous Fido Rescue for a second chance. Despite all the changes in his young life, he remains a gentle, affectionate dog who is longing for stability and companionship. Sparky would thrive with a family willing to give him patience, consistency, and the comfort of finally belonging somewhere safe. Sparky will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
