Her Story 

Sophie’s story is one of heartbreak and resilience. At just 1 year old, this gentle Greyhound mix was abandoned in the freezing cold, left with blisters on her tender feet and wearing a winter coat two sizes too small—an afterthought from a family who failed her. Despite the sadness she carries in her eyes, Sophie’s heart remains open, longing for love and safety. She’s sweet, friendly, and eager to trust again, but she needs a family willing to show her that she’ll never be tossed aside again. Sophie deserves warmth, care, and a place where she can finally feel cherished.

Her Sponsorship 

Sophie will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great.
