His Story
Snowy’s journey to Famous Fido Rescue was a long one – both in miles and heartache. After his family in Indiana couldn’t find a place nearby to take him, this fluffy king made his way to Chicago, hoping to land his forever throne. With his glorious white fur and confident swagger, Snowy looks just like Snowball from Stuart Little – but we think he might be even cuter (don’t tell Snowball). Beneath all that fluff, though, is a big softie who’s feeling pretty bummed without a lap to claim as his own. He’s got a huge heart, an even bigger personality, and just enough cattitude to keep you entertained for life.
His Sponsorship
Snowy will need sponsoring for his daily care at Famous Fido Rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Snowy is litter trained and will also need supplies of pine litter for his tray.
To send Snowy a care package, please see his wish list here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/34IUR4LPSHY1L?ref_=wl_share

Adoption fee: $200
At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
