Smitty is a 10-month-old standard poodle with a heart as gentle as his curls are soft. Smart, sweet, and eager to please, Smitty is looking for a forever family who will give him the love, stability, and attention he’s been missing. He came to Famous Fido Rescue after his former family moved somewhere that didn’t allow dogs and said they no longer had time for him, but we know this boy has so much to offer the right home. Smitty would thrive with guardians who will cherish him as a true family member, keep his mind active, and be by his side for life.

His Sponsorship 

Smitty will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft training treats are especially great.
