His Story 

Meet Riku, a dignified 10-year-old grey cat with a heart as gentle as his fur. Riku’s life has been a journey of solitude, and his shy and reserved nature reflects the lack of social interaction in his past. As a senior cat, he may be set in his ways, but beneath that reserved exterior lies a soul yearning for connection. Riku is in search of a patient and understanding family, one that will respect his boundaries and provide the quiet warmth he deserves. Although he might need time to trust, Riku is deserving of a love that transcends his past. If you have a big heart and the capacity for kindness, Riku is ready to share his twilight years with you, turning a new chapter in the comfort of a loving home.

His Sponsorship 

Riku will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Riku is litter trained and will need pine pellets for his tray.
