Rascal

Breed: Miniature Poodle
Age: 18 years old
Sex: Male

His Story

Rascal has spent 18 years knowing the warmth of a home and was given up when they could no longer care for him. He may be a senior, but his spirit is still strong. While he doesn’t play with toys, he enjoys the occasional zoomies and has a quiet, laid-back presence. With a cataract in his left eye and some incontinence, he needs a guardian who understands the gentle care that comes with age. What Rascal truly longs for is comfort, familiarity, and a loving lap where he can rest his head, knowing he is safe for the rest of his days. He would love to be adopted with his bonded partner, Tristan.

His Sponsorship

Rascal will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Soft treats are especially great.
