Puma

His Story

Puma was originally adopted out of an open-door shelter over 6 months ago, but when his guardian grew tired of him, they set him loose to the streets. He was picked up by a traveler passing through, who brought him into our center to have his microchipped scanned. When we rang the contact on the microchip however, the person explained they did not want him back and surrendered him to our center. Puma has been understandably heartbroken by this, but he is such a great dog, who has the potential to bring a lot of joy to another home. He would love to be adopted into an active family, who will take him for lots of walks or even a run. He’s a young pup who needs somewhere to play, and although he is quite smart, he could still benefit from some basic training. 

His Sponsorship

Puma will need sponsoring for his daily needs at Famous Fido Rescue, including his housing, feeding, and medical care. Enrichment is also very important to Puma’s time here and he will need care packages with toys and treats for play and comfort. Bully sticks are great for his dental wellbeing also. He loves to go for walks and would love a large harness to fit and leash to match.
