His Story 

Opie was surrendered to our center when his people said that they no longer wanted him. He is very shy and scared. He can get intimidated easily and can react if he feels threatened, so we are hoping for a calm and quiet home for him, without other animals or small children. He is very good when distractions are limited and is content enough just to be cuddled and caressed in a lap. He needs someone that will be patient and nurturing. We are sure that with time, Opie will feel more confident to be a playful, young pup like he should. He just needs the opportunity to decompress! 

His Sponsorship 

Opie will need sponsoring for his daily needs in center, including for his food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is a very important part of Opie’s rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks would be especially great!
