His Story 

Mochi is a gentle and loving 2-year-old cat who has recently faced an overwhelming change, being left on our doorstep by his previous guardian. Despite his initial fear and uncertainty, Mochi has shown a deep capacity for affection, nuzzling into the hands of those who care for him. He is a sweet soul who longs for a safe and loving home where he can feel secure and cherished. Mochi would thrive in a calm environment with a compassionate adopter who can offer him the patience and love he needs to regain his confidence and trust. His Sponsorship

Mochi will need sponsorship for his food, housing, and medical care at the rescue. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Mochi is litter trained and will also need supplies of clumping litter for his tray.

Transparency in Adoption Fees: What Your Contribution Helps Cover

At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
