Her Story 

Maya was abandoned in an underground parking lot of a residential apartment complex. It appears that she was very neglected, as she was surrendered with a very matted coat, and she was extremely emaciated. Maya needs a lot of loving in her next home. She is quite scared around new people, so she will need someone who is patient and willing to take things at her pace. She would likely benefit from having another small companion to share her home and help her grow in confidence. 

Her Sponsorship 

Maya will need sponsoring for her daily needs in center, including for her food, housing, and veterinary care. Enrichment is a very important part of Maya’s rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
