Her Story 

Meet Martha, a delightful young cat with a heart full of curiosity and playfulness, eagerly awaiting a loving home. Recently surrendered due to her previous guardian’s landlord issues, Martha is now looking for a fresh start with a new family. She thrives on exploration and fun, making her an excellent companion for a household with other cats or anyone looking to add a spark of feline joy to their life. If you have room in your home and heart, Martha would love to become a cherished member of your family.

Her Sponsorship 

Martha will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Martha is litter trained and will also need supplies of pine litter for her tray.

Transparency in Adoption Fees: What Your Contribution Helps Cover

At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
