Her Story

Mariah is a stunning young cat who found herself in our care after her previous guardian could no longer provide for her, along with her six adorable kittens. While it’s common for mother cats like Mariah to be overlooked in favor of their kittens, we believe she deserves a chance to shine in a loving home of her own. Mariah is incredibly sweet and affectionate, with a heart full of love to share with her new family.

Her Sponsorship 

Mariah will need sponsoring for her rescue journey, which includes her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of Mariah’s rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Mariah is litter trained and will need supplies of pine litter for her tray.

Transparency in Adoption Fees: What Your Contribution Helps Cover

At Famous Fido Rescue, we believe in being transparent about our adoption fees and the important care they help provide. Each adoption fee covers essential health services to prepare animals for a safe and happy transition into their new homes. This includes spaying or neutering, which costs between $85 and $500 based on vet availability. While we aim to use low-cost clinics, busy schedules may lead us to private clinics to prevent delays in adoption. Vaccinations start at $45, with young animals often needing multiple rounds. We also provide microchipping, which can cost up to $80, to help ensure the safety of every animal. Additionally, fecal testing is performed at $50 per test, and for all our cats, we run FIV/FeLV testing at $55 to secure their health. Your adoption fee makes all this vital care possible, giving each animal the best start in their forever home.
