His Story 

Hunter is a stunning 4-year-old Chow Chow with a heart as big as his fluffy coat. Despite being abandoned and let down by the very people who were supposed to love him, Hunter has remained incredibly sweet, loyal, and full of love. He deserves a family who will see him for the amazing companion he is—one that will never give up on him. Hunter thrives in a calm environment where he can build trust and feel secure, and he would do best with a patient and loving adopter who understands the unique nature of his breed. He has been waiting far too long for a home to call his own, and we know that the right person is out there, ready to give him the life he deserves.

His Sponsorship 

Hunter will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great!
