Their Story 

Holly (black and white) and Molly (cream) were left behind in a vacated apartment, locked in a bathroom without food or water, and were likely there for several days without any human contact. The owner of the building surrendered this pair to us, and immediately we realized that their neglect went beyond the last few days they faced alone. Molly and Holly had long coats that were matted tightly to the skin and covered in filth. It was heartbreaking to see, but in the sadness of it all, we also saw how these two girls were comforting each other, and that this was a battle that they didn’t have to face completely alone. Holly and Molly are very bonded, and we would love to find them their forever home together. They are such sweet girls, and we know with love and care, they will really flourish. They are very friendly and gentle and would be ok with other dogs or even cats. They may even be a fit for some families with children. 

Their Sponsorship

Holly and Molly will need sponsoring during their stay at the rescue, including for their daily care, of food, housing, and their medical needs. Enrichment is also a very important part of their rescue journey, and they would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks are especially great. These girls need small collars and size medium Puppia harnesses for walks with a 6ft leash.
