Hansel
Breed: DSH
Age: 1 year old
Sex: Male
His Story
Hansel is a tender-hearted young cat who is still reeling from the pain of losing his home. He was surrendered to our center when his family moved and couldn’t take him along, and since then, he’s been quietly grieving, often retreating into hiding as he tries to make sense of the change. Hansel longs for a calm and patient home where he can feel safe enough to let his guard down again. With a little time and a lot of love, Hansel is sure to blossom into the affectionate companion he once was—he just needs someone to remind him that home can still be a place of warmth and trust. We would love Hansel to be adopted with his sister, Gretel.
His Sponsorship
Hansel will need sponsoring for his daily care at the rescue, including for his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Hansel is litter trained and will also need supplies of clumping litter for his tray.
