Her Story 

Meet Dorothy, a courageous 2-year-old Cairn Terrier who has been on an inspiring healing journey at Famous Fido Rescue after surviving a car accident. Now ready for her next chapter, Dorothy is seeking a loving home where she can thrive. She gets along well with other small dogs and, although she hasn’t been around cats, we believe this sweet girl would adapt well to a home with feline friends. Dorothy would be best suited to an adult-only family or a family with older children who understand her need for gentleness due to some lingering tenderness from her accident. This volunteer favorite is looking for a calm and quiet home filled with love, where she can continue to heal and share her affectionate spirit.

Her Sponsorship 

Dorothy will need sponsoring for her daily care at the rescue, including for her food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of her rescue journey, and she would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bull sticks are especially great.
