His Story 

Dexter is a sweet 12-year-old dog who found himself at Famous Fido Rescue after spending his entire life with one family. Unfortunately, when they added a new dog to the household, they chose to give up Dexter instead of working through the challenges. Despite this, Dexter has shown nothing but kindness and resilience, getting along well with the other dogs at our rescue. He’s a gentle soul who deserves a second chance to live out his golden years in a loving home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with lots of love left to give, Dexter is ready to be your new best friend.

His Sponsorship

Dexter will need sponsoring for his time here at the rescue, which includes his food, housing, and medical care. Enrichment is also a very important part of his rescue journey, and he would love to receive care packages with toys and treats for comfort and for play. Bully sticks and soft treats are especially great!
